I do mainly mixed media paintings, from my home studio about 12 miles north of York. The subjects are quite varied but mainly landscapes on acrylic and inks with hand-made wooden frames. I carry out commissioned work if that may be of interest to you and I also sell my art in some lovely local shops as well as online.

I moved to Yorkshire from London in 1999 with my husband John and two (now grown up) children. I had always dreamed of living in the North, having a nice country garden, a Spaniel and an AGA. Not forgetting the mandatory washing line. That's where my painting story began, mixed in with my visiting podiatry work. I found my passion and the love of being outside, whether in the garden or walking in the gorgeous countryside of North Yorkshire. 

I am a strong believer in following your dream whatever it is - we aren't on this planet for long so go for it if it makes you happy.
